Since graduating from the U of A in 1990, I have developed a personal interest in chronic health conditions, and have worked almost exclusively with complex physical and mental health conditions for over 25 years.

I have extensively studied the role that stress, metabolic health and immune system balance play in the development of chronic health conditions, and the role that healthy lifestyle behaviours play in helping our patients gain control over their health.

I have acquired my FCAMT, am PGAP Certified and Matheson FCE trained.

Upon graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors in Kinesiology, I have been able to apply valuable skills and knowledge from my degree to real-life scenarios. Coming from a competitive soccer background, I have always emphasized the importance of physical fitness, however I have gradually learned that overall health also relies heavily on mental and emotional well-being. I am a firm believer that exercise has the ability to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally, and I am elated to be able to help guide people on their journey towards an overall healthier life. We will curate a personalized exercise program to help individuals reach their overall health goals and gain confidence not only in the gym, but their everyday lives. I am passionate about serving others and having a meaningful impact on the lives of the people I interact with.

When I’m not in the gym, you can find me on the soccer pitch, spending time with family, or scouring farmer’s markets for delicious new treats!

BSc Kin

From an early age, I developed a strong passion for sports, beginning with soccer when I was first enrolled as a child. I quickly became drawn to the teamwork and camaraderie, participating in as many team sports as possible throughout my youth. This lifelong interest in physical activity led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan.

During my academic journey, I gained a deep appreciation for the vital role physical activity plays in overall health and well-being. I became committed to turning my passion into a profession—helping others incorporate movement and exercise into their daily lives to enhance their quality of life.

While in university, I worked as a student trainer for the Huskies Athletics. This experience introduced me to the world of sport injury management and rehabilitation, sparking a particular interest in working with athletes and providing on-field first aid. I further expanded this experience by working as a team trainer with the Saskatchewan Rugby League, deepening my understanding of athletic care and support.

Since 2015, I have worked as a Kinesiologist, creating personalized exercise programs to help clients recover from injuries and improve their quality of life. I take pride in working closely with clients to support their recovery and wellness goals, and I especially value collaboration with other health professionals as part of an integrated care team.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active—particularly by playing soccer, the sport that first inspired my journey.

“With a lifelong passion for movement and sport, I’ve always been drawn to the world of health and fitness. Growing up playing basketball, volleyball, and softball, I developed a deep appreciation for the connection between physical activity and overall well-being. That passion has since evolved into a fulfilling career.

I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and earned my certification as a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer. I’m currently channeling my energy into long-distance running and training for my first marathon—an exciting personal challenge that continues to fuel my love for physical endurance and discipline.

At On-Site Rehabilitation, I’m proud to support clients in their recovery and fitness journeys. I believe in educating others on the powerful benefits of fitness and nutrition, and there’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Knowing I can play a part in improving someone’s quality of life is what drives me every day. “
